Drawings into parts lists — waiting on a real vision pipeline.

Drawing Reader

Not live yet. Reading an engineering drawing takes a vision pipeline we haven't built, and running plain text extraction over a blueprint would not be honest work. When it ships, it will draft the bill of materials for an engineer to check line by line. If it's your first problem, tell us.

Where this stands

In development

Needs a vision parsing pipeline; text extraction of engineering drawings is not honest.

We publish the roadmap the way we run it: nothing wears a Live badge until a working agent stands behind it.

What we're building

The Drawing Reader is meant to take a drawing package and produce a draft multi-level bill of materials — part numbers, cut lists, material callouts, hardware counts. Doing that properly means parsing the drawing as a drawing, and that vision pipeline is not built; text extraction alone misreads exactly the callouts that stop a shop floor. So it stays on the roadmap until it can be done right. When it ships, the output will be a draft an engineer verifies before anything is routed to production. If CAD-to-BOM would change your week, say so — it helps us order the roadmap.
