What is the difference between ask-mode and action-mode AI?
Ask-mode AI is included in every plan — it answers questions about your data in plain English. Action-mode AI does the work itself: it sends the invoice, posts the entry, reconciles the statement. Action-mode is billed by the action (fractions of a cent), requires a card on file and a hard monthly ceiling you set, and can be switched on from any plan.
Could action-mode AI run up a surprise bill?
No. You set a hard monthly ceiling and the system stops there. You watch a live cost meter, bulk actions ask for confirmation first, and you only ever pay when the AI actually does something. A runaway bill is exactly what the ceiling exists to prevent.
