In our systems, the AI helpers — the one that answers questions from your own data, and the one that handles purchasing — each carry a distinct, tamper-proof identity. So when a helper looks up sensitive financial figures or starts a transaction, it can only do exactly what its job allows, and nothing more.
The Virgo Network: Moving Data Almost Instantly
Factories run on up-to-the-second readings from their equipment. Google’s new Virgo network changes how fast that data can travel.
Virgo sends data over direct fiber-optic paths, so information flows straight from a client’s factory floor to the computers running their system. It skips the usual traffic jams, so the delay between far-apart locations all but disappears. The payoff: a live view of your supply chain, and equipment-failure predictions that react in a flash.
Knowledge Catalog: One Place That Connects Everything
The change our customers will feel most is the Knowledge Catalog. Until now, we kept tidy business records (orders, ledgers) and loose documents (PDFs, drawings) in separate filing systems.
Now we bring it all together — production schedules, engineering drawings, supplier contracts, HR records — into one connected map of your information. That gives the AI a single, always-available picture of the whole business. Ask about a supply-chain holdup, and the answer is pulled together from every corner of your data at once, instead of from one silo at a time.
